Puppy School - Day Train 

Bark & Co. Training offers a structured day training program designed to build your puppy’s confidence, obedience, and real-world manners in a controlled environment. This program focuses on clear communication, proper socialization, and foundational skills during your puppy’s most important developmental stage, without the chaos of traditional daycare.

Who is Puppy School for?

  • Owners that need a safe and structured day care where their puppy will learn foundational skills
  • Puppies having a hard time getting on crate and potty schedules
  • Puppies that struggle with impulse control, biting, general manners and settling 

What Will Your Puppy Learn?

  •  Marker system: YES, GOOD, BREAK, NO
  •  Sit, down, heel, place, and recall foundations
  •  Leash manners and handler engagement
  • Crate training and structured downtime
  • Proper socialization exposure (not free-for-all daycare)
  • Cooperative grooming and handling 
  • Bite inhibition and soft mouth development
  • Play rules including no biting and introduction to “out”
  • Impulse control including thresholds and food manners
  • Confidence around new sounds, surfaces, and objects
  • Household desensitization such as vacuums, brooms, and noises
  • Supervised one-on-one puppy play when appropriate

What you will learn

After the initial consultation we will develop a training plan with your goals in mind. You and your dog will be introduced to 

  • Marker system: YES, GOOD, BREAK, NO
  • Leash pressure and loose leash walking introduction 
  • Counter conditioning to ensure positive yet neutral emotions around triggers such as dogs, children, joggers, bikes etc. 
  • Cooperative grooming and handling 
  • Sit Down and recall foundations
  • Play
  • Place command and self settling
